Safe House For Women
The Safe House for Women officially opened in November of 1991. It provides a safe and secure place where a domestic violence victim and her children can live when she has had to leave her home to flee from abuse.
As of October of 2000, the shelter had helped over 630 women and 650 children during the year 2000 alone.
