
BILL D. BURLISON

| Bill D. Burlison, twenty-fifty prosecuting attorney, was born in Wardell, Missouri on March 15, 1933. He was educated at Southeast Missouri State College and the University of Missouri. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and as an Assistant Attorney General of Missouri. During his three terms as prosecuting attorney he spent one year as the President of the Missouri Prosecuting Attorney's Association. In 1968 he was elected as U.S. Representative to Congress from this district and was reelected five times until he was defeated by Bill Emerson in 1980. He now practices law in the Washington, D.C. area. |
