The Evening Optimist Club, founded in 1926, is the oldest Optimist Club of Cape Girardeau. Throughout it's history it has been active in the life of the community.
The club membership is made up of adults of good character and community standing . Our members represent a cross section of the business, social and cultural life of the Cape Girardeau area.
Our positive approach, upbeat outlook, and our commitment to the creation of a more optimistic future for children differentiates Optimist clubs from any other volunteer opportunity.
