Cape Evening Optimist is proud to sponsor the 4th annual Tour de Cape, Saturday Oct. 11, 2003 This fun ride features tours  of 15, 30, 62, and 100 miles.

All proceeds from this event are used to fund scholarships for the:

Friday night is Optimist Bingo night in Cape Girardeau. Cape Evening Optimist in conjunction with the Jackson Men's, Jackson Women's and the Excelsior Optimist Clubs is in its third year of  Bingo at Bingo World in Cape Girardeau Mo.

Doors open at 3:00 and play begins at 6:30.  We play 23 games with two progressives.

There is plenty of parking, seating for more than 500, separate smoking and non- smoking areas and great concessions.
