E-Mail Setup Instructions

Double click on the Pegasus Mail icon. You will be asked to Enter your POP3 password. [POP stands for Post Office Protocol. It is the method by which you read and send e-mail.] Type the password (this is usually in mixed case) that you were given and click OK.

If you don't want to enter your password each time you start Pegasus, you can select the Options item from the Tools menu. Now choose Network configuration and enter your Password in the box (as shown below).

Don't click on OK just yet.


Now click on Signatures and Edit the Signature set #1. Type in your name and at least your e-mail address in the middle section for Internet mail (see screen below). This signature can automatically be added at the end of your outgoing mail messages. [The extra blank line at the beginning is there so your name will always start on a new line.] You can also change the title in the top box to better identify this signature set. Click on Save and OK and you are ready to surf the `net. Enjoy!
