Mississippi River Hills Association

"Working to educate the public about locally produced agricultural products, foods, wines, arts, crafts, and cultural assets within the Mississippi River Hills region in order to protect and enhance these resources for future generations."

Welcome to the Mississippi River Hills!  The MRH is two things: a place, and association of people who work together to promote and protect that place and the products produced there.

The Mississippi River Hills Association (MRHA) seeks to develop, connect, and market products that are grown or otherwise produced within the region.  Our members represent farmers, value-added food producers, vineyards and wineries, tourism, the arts, educators, retailers, and more.  Together we seek to strengthen our regional economy while retaining all that is good, for the benefit of future generations.

We encourage visitors, people interested in discovering the real flavors of rural America – the history, the river and the great outdoors, the arts and culture, and the best foods and wines that the Midwest has to offer.

The darker green is a distinct ecological region within the MRH, characterized by river bluffs and limestone.
