2008 Missouri Women's State Tournament will be held in Columbia and Fulton.

Dates and times still to be announced.  The association will have enter forms available at all 3 local centers, as well as forms being sent to all team captains who participated in the 2007 event.

   2007 state tournament was held in Joplin, April 13th to May  20th.

   Doubles & Singles events @ Carl Richard 4th Street Bowl, 1419 West 4th Street.

Hey now is a good time to start thinking about trying your bowling skills at Nationals. 

The 2008 USBC Women's Championships will be held in Detroit, MI from April 10 to July 6 2008. 

Check bowl.com for details.  Several of our local association bowlers have attended this event over the past couple of years.  Come join the fun.

Also the USBC Open is being held in Albuquerque, NM from February 16 thru June 28, 2008

MSWBA  2007 Tournament Results

Cape Girardeau's "Fun Team" composed of Shirley Beggs, Millie Ancell, Alberta Gwin, Barbara Goodman and Melba Buckner captured 1st place in Division 5 Missouri State Bowling Tournament with a total of 2097 pin count.  All these Ladies Bowl on Thursday Morning Early Bird League at West Park Lanes except for Alberta who Bowls on the Monday Night Twilight League.

    Other 1st place winners:

    Janis Burford in Division 3, All Events, with 1718 pins. Janis also bowls on the Thursday Morning Early Bird League at West Park Lanes.

    Cathy Wright, who bowls in the Ladies Night Out League at Main Street Lanes, was a 1st place winner in Division 4 All Events with 1536 pins.
